I know that Andrew has posted his own word of thanks on the initial post, but I just wanted to say my own thanks to those of you who gave generously through the charity widget to Cancer Research, in support of Andrew. I am highly impressed at his time of 1hr 49min - though still think it would be faster and less exhausting to drive the 13 miles!! But maybe that defeats the purpose. Andrew joked (when I phoned on the mobile shortly after the end of the race and he wasn't even breathless!) that I could do it with him next year. All the laughing I have done at that suggestion has burned off many calories already!

Better him than me!!
My brother-in-law, Andrew, is running the Glasgow half-marathon on Sept. 2nd to raise money for Cancer Research. If you would like to make an on-line donation, no matter how small, to help him reach his target, you can do so here. We wish him well. Me? I couldn't run for a bus!!
